Extraterritorial Zoning (ETZ) Joint Committee

Overview:

The Extraterritorial Zoning (ETZ) Committee reviews zoning and land use requests within the Village of Ellsworth’s extraterritorial jurisdiction, as authorized under Wisconsin State Statutes §62.23(7a).

The Committee considers items such as land divisions, rezonings, and conditional uses in accordance with the Village’s Zoning Code (Chapter 46), including extraterritorial provisions such as §46.16.

The ETZ Committee provides recommendations to the Plan Commission and/or Village Board, which takes final action as required by ordinance.

Meetings are held as needed and are open to the public.
