2026 Spring Election Notices and Important Dates

  • Absentee Voting at Residential Care Facilities and Retirement Homes: Wednesday, March 18th   
    • Ellsworth Health Services: 403 N. Maple St. Special Voting Deputies will begin voting at this facility at 9 am.   
    • Preferred Senior Living: 429 W. Wayne St. Special Voting Deputies will begin voting at this facility at approximately 10 am.

  • Beginning Tuesday, March 24th, in-person absentee voting will be available in the office at the Village of Ellsworth. 
    • Voting will be available from 8 am - 4:30 pm during office hours. 
    • Last day to do in-person absentee voting will be Friday, April 3rd. 
    • Thursday, March 26th, and Wednesday, April 1st, the office will be open until 7 pm for absentee voting only.
    • Remember to have your Driver's License or some form of proof of ID with you to be able to vote.

  • The Electronic Voting Equipment for the Spring Election on April 7, 2026, will be tested on Monday, March 30, 2026.
    According to Wis. Stats. 5.84(1) Testing Equipment requires that electronic voting equipment be tested at a public meeting. The DS200 and Express Vote machines will be tested on Monday, March 30, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. in the Village Hall Lower-Level Meeting Room, 130 N. Chestnut Street, Ellsworth, WI 54011. The test is open to the public.

  • ELECTION DAY TUESDAY, APRIL 7, 2026. POLLS OPEN AT 7 AM. VOTING IS CONDUCTED IN THE LOWER LEVEL OF THE VILLAGE HALL. PLEASE USE THE LOWER EAST ENTERACE.
